Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

The Pore Freshner Toner from Etude House promises to be your dream skincare husband. It claims to :

  1. Balance skin’s ideal PH level
  2. refine skin tones
  3. keep the elasticity of the pores
  4. remove skin surface’s dead skin cells
  5. cleanse pore insides with cooling effect
  6. deep cleanse pores
  7. minimize appearance of pores
  8. control large amount of sebum
  9. moisturizes inside and outside of the skin
  10. complete smooth glass-like texture.

But the reality is far away from this. Like many husbands, this product keeps forgetting its promises and it keeps you disappointing  no matter how many  second chances you give it.

I was sold into the product by the many reviews I read online. I do not know if it is my product that is corrupted but apart from the strong alcohol content that dried my face out I did not see any other changes. So without me ranting too much over the product, lets just get started with the review.

The ratings for the product are:

Packaging5/5The packaging is very simple, ergonomic and practical. The seal keeps the product fresh and does not leak.
Effectiveness1/5Yes I know, how could I give this a lower rating than The Face Shop Cleansing Oil? WELL…the cleansing oil at least was doing something, I feel like this product does not do anything at all, it just freshens up the skin and for that we already have mists. This product has a mild astringent potency to it, but there are many other toners who can do the same job and benefit much better your skin, one of my favourite? The Pixi Glow Tonic with Aloe Vera & Ginseng.
Value3.5/5It is an okayish price, but I feel like for the performance of the product it is a tad too expensive.
Longevity5/5This product lasted me months, and maybe it is because I did not use it religiously but I swear, I bought this back in this December and I STILL have some left.
OverallOKAY…buy it if you want to try it out, it might work for you but do not expect it too be a 10-in-1 as it claims.

I bought this from TKmaxx in Charing Cross London for £10.50 circa. You can find it on the following links below:

I hope that you find this review useful and if you have already tried the product WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS ON IT? Let me know below.

    • I did not know that there was a tissue version of it, I am a little bit disappointed that it did not work for me but I am happy to know that it worked for you! 🙂
